New study concludes music for schools is essential
Following its launch at the House of Commons in November 2006, hosted by Mr David Lammy MP, the Government announced its support for the Music For Schools Initiative. Music should be central to the school curriculum because it helps improve children's health and well-being. It is as important as English or Maths as it teaches pupils about co-operation and concentration and boosts relaxation, concluded a recent scientific study by Professor Susan Hallam of the Institute of Education, University of London.

“
I know this music collection and it is remarkable and comprehensive. To make this available to all students in the UK of all ages will deliver untold benefits. I would encourage Government, Educational establishments and the Business community to support this worthwhile and unique opportunity.
